Two items of note today:

• Unfortunately, “Take To The World” slipped two places on CMCentral’s The Chart this week. Anything that you can do to help correct this oversight will be helpful. Airplay is what sells records!
• After Monday night’s show in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Derek confided to [derekwebb.net] the secret to getting an “obscure” song played during a show: bring him the words to the song. “If you’ll bring me the words, I’ll make an attempt to play it. I remember most of my old songs, but the chances are that I’ve forgotten all of the lyrics. But if you bring the lyrics, I’ll try.” Rumors that [derekwebb.net] has two “obscure” songs lined up for Derek at tonight’s Huntsville, Ala., show are unconfirmed.
