G: Speaking about the one other thing that’s sitting out there on the horizon, I know that the show you did in Nashville, at Rocketown with the mighty, mighty DaveJac on the soundboard…
D: Oh, I had so much fun…
G: …rockin’ the soundboard that night; it was awesome…you don’t have to blush, Dave, I mean, c’mon…have a little pride in your abilities. God gave it to you, you were using it to give glory…c’mon.
D: That’s right.
G: You’re doing your job right. [inaudible] *laughs*
DaveJac: [sarcastically] It’s my ministry…
D: *laughs*
G: I know there were videographers there, checking that out… are we going to see anything come out about that?
D: Yeah, yeah…we’re editing, we’ve mixed the audio. And it was mixed by Shane Wilson, who mixed the better part of Long Line of Leavers for Caedmon’s; a tremendous mixing engineer, and he mixed the audio–it sounds amazing. We are finishing the video edit as we speak, putting the titles on it, doing all the stuff you do…and in June, it’s gonna come out. The DVD’s gonna come out; it’s gonna be called, How to Kill and Be Killed…taken from a line out of “Lover Part 2.”
G: Absolutely.
D: So, um…*laughs*…and so I don’t know exactly where they’ll carry it, but it’ll be out somewhere and you…
G: Davejac.net!
D: Davejac.net will have them—exclusively.
G: Get the Davejac.net fundraiser going…
D: That’s right, and there’s also gonna be…we sat down, we sat down for about two hours one afternoon and did a little bit of kinda one-sided interviewing and filmed that as well, so there’ll be also be…maybe an hour, once it all gets edited down, of me giving my opinions on everything that no one wants to hear about my opinions on…
G: *laughs* Cause it’s your platform, so by-golly, use the soapbox while you can.
D: That’s right. So that’ll be on there as well, and, here’s the good news: it’s gonna be an hour and a half concert, an hour’s worth of interview footage, and Sony are the one’s, actually, that came, from INO, and wanted to do that. And part of their plan with this is they wanna make it really really inexpensive, so it looks like it might even be, like, probably be about ten bucks. Like, they really wanna focus on really low…low cost, like really inexpensive concert DVDs. And they wanted one from INO, and so INO did one for me, and, so…it’s gonna be really cheap, that’s the good news.
