Week of Webb Bootlegs

Derek Webb - 2006-10-17 - cover Okay, so I’ve got three Derek shows that I’ve taped but not released. I’ve been remiss in my bootleg-sharing duties. That said, I’m working off that backlog this week—by Friday, I hope to have all three shows out in the wild. I started tonight with a show that’s 10 months old [egad]: Derek Webb in Trussville, AL back in October 2006. It’s a pretty solid pre-The Ringing Bell setlist, and it’s a soundboard, so that’s different than many of the recordings I do. [Not only is it a SBD, but it's a very good one---the folks at ClearBranch worked with me for half-an-hour to get a suitable setup. Very much appreciated by me.]

Here’s the setlist:

  1. [introduction] (1:25)
  2. I Want a Broken Heart (4:32)
  3. Nobody Loves Me (3:45)
  4. [stage banter] (2:46)
  5. Mockingbird (4:12)
  6. A New Law (4:06)
  7. A King and a Kingdom (2:53)
  8. [stage banter] (0:32)
  9. I Hate Everything But You (4:17)
  10. [stage banter] (2:10)
  11. What You Want (3:59)
  12. [stage banter] (1:45)
  13. Saint and Sinner (4:09)
  14. [stage banter] (0:19)
  15. Rich Young Ruler (3:40)
  16. [stage banter] (3:00)
  17. My Enemies Are Men Like Me (4:58)
  18. Wedding Dress (5:03)
  19. [stage banter] (2:18)
  20. Lover (4:44)

Give ‘er a try. You can grab the show at IndieRiver, but you’re gonna need an account. Lucky for you, they’re free. :)

Many thanks, Geof. Now I’m miffed at myself for having turned off my web proxy and closed Azureus before I left home. Otherwise I’d be starting the download here from the office. :)

  2. You’re quite welcome, Rae. Happy to do it. I’ll have another one online tonight.

  3. Carla Jean says:

    Yay Trussville!
