I was at Derek’s show last night in Holland, MI, (which was fantastic) and he said there’s no way the new album will be out by May, but more likely by August.

He’s called former because Derek, though he recorded Overdressed with CC, isn’t officially back with the group for any extended period of time. So Derek and Josh are former band members in the same way Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen are former band members

OK, so why is Josh called “former” bandmate? Typo? Worded wrong (could have read: was his former CC bandmate, but now he is his CC bandmate). Or am I not up on the latest news?
