We wonder what a Stockholm Latte tastes like …

Yeah, so we’ve been letting Derek drive the bus lately on news about Stockholm Syndrome. It’s his bus. But now there’s a code to figure out, and … well, Bryan is a crazy Lost fan, so you know we’re all about it.

We don’t figure we’re going to solve the puzzle; we will, however, summarize what’s known about the puzzle to date. So, here’s what we know as of mid-morning on May 19th:

There are 20 stems on paradiseisaparkinglot.com … what could that mean? A 20-track record? 20 stems of one song? We’ll find out together.

This is beginning to feel less like a “label dispute” and more like an elaborate marketing ploy to generate interest in the album.

I’ve quickly gone from sympathy, to frustration, to feeling manipulated. If this turns out to be a marketing ploy, then I agree with this this poster and I will have lost respect for Derek.

Don’t play games with us. That’s exactly the type of thing the kind of Christians that support you are tired of, from all sides.

At the bottom of derekwebb.com to the right it has a “link”. It is three dots with a line under it.
    Looks like this:

    ___

    It links to http://www.derekwebb.com/ssyndrome.php

    Anyone figure this out?

It looks like you can download something on that paradise website now. Anyone know what those “5 artifacts” were?

Hey guys, just let the guy have some fun! There was a secret message and a secret place to download, so all we need now is a bunch of chairs and a sheet for a secret fort!

so i’m pretty sure its not a marketing ploy. I mean his last two albums have been given away for free after a certain time and with his connections and promotion to NoiseTrade it’s pretty clear he is in it for the music not the bucks. sure he needs the bucks to pay the bills but he knows he’ll be no superstar. I think he is just being creative by getting this controversial song out to his fans. I bet releasing the “stems” in 2 second increments will free him for any label contract breaking liability etc. I’m pumped about the whole process. I was skeptical at first but then I thought about who was doing this and he hasn’t let us down yet haha
