Just downloaded the album, and I love it! Musically, I appreciated the departure from the mainstream of Christian music. I also appreciate Derek's willingness to tackle issues and subjects that most Christian artists are not concerned with. Keep up the good work!

I got mine end of last week as well and love the shirt! I wore it the next day and I'm going to be keeping my eye out to see if I spot it around town, haha. I've been listening to my digital download since release and burned a copy on a CD for the car, so I've had it for a while but it's awesome to have a real copy now. Just gave one to my bro-in-law to take back to his college and listen to. And to Ethan and anyone else contemplating getting these albums, you can tell which version is which by just looking at the back to see what songs are on it. You don't have to open them in case you are gift giving.

Musically entertaining. A Ringing Bell pt. 2., more fragmented though. I've allowed Webb to challenge my thoughts on several issues, but I'm not exactly sure what is being communicated this time. There's a lot of gaps lyrically that allow me to write in my own meaning. Is that by design? Admittedly I'm a distant fan and do not possess the Rosetta Stone of proper interpretation. Maybe I have to listen to it backwards. Critique aside, creatively unique and dreamy.

Overall, I like the album though I've only had opportunity to listen to it through once and then again partially. I work with badly abused/neglected boys ages 7-12 years and this cd will likely not make it into the mix on Sunday mornings or at bedtime. Perhaps the cleaned up version will but then too, though they'd like the music, I doubt they'd 'get it'. Heck I'm having a difficult time getting some of it. I like the bannished song an awful lot. Honest, truthful, nice to have a sense that someone in the Christian world is not out to crucify me based on one facet of who I am and lift in prayer daily. I can understand the record label not releasing the song but really, it has released it albeit only through the 'webb' site. I won't hold it against INO one bit and maybe don't get the 'controversy' over the lablel saying no to the song. It's my favorite on the album, it's also the one song that is clearly understandable out of the whole bunch for me. That's probably why it's my favorite. I like that it's point isn't hidden. I'm looking forward to spending more time with the record and getting to know it better. It makes me want to pull out my old "Kid A" album and fire that baby up again. Thanks Mr. Webb for this outing. You've got to step in the dark for your Light to show the Way.

Got mine on Friday! I really like the t-shirt. Just like Ampersand it's an American Apparel shirt, so it's nice and worn in! I received both the CD's. The only thing I didn't like was I didn't know which one was the "clean" and which one was the "dirty." They were packaged different and I was planning on giving the "clean" one to a friend but now both are opened and I think giving a already opened CD is a little tacky!

Overall, 100

I got my preorder! I love the t-shirt, I like it more than I expected. I only got this package to be part of the Democracy Vol I project, but my t-shirt is sweet and I'm wearing it right now!

much like the website clues, the liner notes spell out 'loveyousm' which as far as I can tell is not a website, but I'm assuming a reference to Sandra. I already have been listening to the digital download, but I'm glad to have a couple copies to give away. I'm a little bummed that the 'explicit' version is in a cardboard sleeve and the regular release is in a jewel case--not because I like jewel cases, but I do like the booklet.

Anyway, I was super excited to get it in the mail.
