Notes from the Road

on the bus somewhere in the usa

i'm awful. it's nights like tonight that i genuinely wonder how in the world God uses me. God continually proves to me how huge and powerful He is by bringing me through nights like this. i really don't want to dwell on negativity (which i will if i continue writing), so i can just say that i praise God in Heaven for this night. in spite of how bad i played and sang, and in spite of how scattered my song intros were, God still moved here tonight. that i truly the most amazing thing that i've ever imagined. what an awesome God that i serve. looking on what i've written, i feel very self-centered, but often it's in the middle of self-centeredness and despair that God teaches us the most important and profound lesson of all: humility.
